SynBiosys in clinical trial by OrbusNeich

PolyVation is pleased to announce that SynBiosys has been chosen by OrbusNeich as the best platform of biodegradable polymers for their newest drug eluting stent (the Combo stent). At December 1st, 2009 OrbusNeich announced initiation of patient enrollment in the clinical trial assessing the Combo drug eluting stent with a SynBiosys polymer coating.

SynBiosys is a family of highly innovative bioresorbable multi-block copolymers explored and exploited by InnoCore Technologies, a company (co-)owned by PolyVation. InnoCore works together with SurModics on advancing SynBiosys drug eluting coatings for stents.
