PolyVation in injectable bioresorbable polymeric gels

July - 2010

PolyVation started InGell Labs together with Branching Tree (founded by Mike de Leeuw and late Jorge Heller). InGell works on a large family of bioresorbable polymer systems that form hydrophilic gels in situ in the human body. The water-borne injectable gels are intended for the controlled and sustained release of biotherapeutics.

InGell Labs is imbedded in the organization and facilities of PolyVation (chemistries) and InnoCore (formulations). PolyVation is responsible for the cGMP manufacturing and supply of the polymers.

Beyond the unique features of the gel-forming polymer systems for drug delivery many other opportunities are open to explore in the medical and personal care area. PolyVation will focus on this.

With this collaboration PolyVation expands her offering of unique bioresorbable polymers and technologies to the health & personal care market. Key are end-group modified ester-ether-ester triblockcopolymers.
