InnoCore appoints new CEO

InnoCore Pharmaceuticals, a technology subsidiary of PolyVation and leading provider of bioresorbable polymer-based drug delivery solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, is pleased to announce the appointment of Jan Hendriks as Chief Executive Officer. He takes over this position from co-founder Theo Flipsen who will continue his involvement in InnoCore Pharmaceuticals as President of the company.

Jan Hendriks (1962) brings over 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical arena to InnoCore. After having served in clinical research and commercial management positions at Sanofi-Aventis and AstraZeneca, he became CEO of Pharma Bio-Research, a CRO focusing on early clinical research that was sold to PRA in 2005. In that year, he founded HendRx Health, through which he has contributed to the development of several medical and (bio)pharmaceutical organizations. Jan Hendriks obtained his Masters in Pharmaceutical Technology and Pharm.D. degrees at Groningen University and was trained in Business Administration at the same university and at IMD and INSEAD.
