We have started with developing and investing in (again) new high-tech state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities. The facilities will enable clean manufacturing of biomedical polymers using chemistry and a variety of downstream processes. We call this investment project 'PolyVation3.0'.
The facilities will be fully equipped with multiple manufacturing lines engineered specifically for the making of a new class of bioresorbable hydrophilic polymers at kg scale.
We are rapidly gowing the staff for working in the new facilities and train them for making the new bioresorbable hydrophilic polymers in the best quality to sustain supply of them for critical applications in regenerative medicine. Next to manufacturing staff we expand in professionals for, amongst other, analysis, quality assurance, engineering, maintenance and logistics. We will expand with about at least 30 professionals, in order to keep up with our growth plans.
Most importantly, the expansion allows us to grow with the market need and keeps PolyVation uniquely positioned as global leader in advanced biomedical polymers.
The project is overall a 5 million Euro investment. PolyVation3.0 is co-financed by the European Union.
